Gastronomic festival GastroFest Turkey 2019 took place from 16th – 18th of May at Nirvana Lagoon Luxury 5 * hotel, Turkey.
GastroFest Turkey took place in the five-star Kemer’s Nirvana Lagoon Luxury hotel, which brought together professionals of culinary and gourmets.
The participants of the festival were representatives from Turkey, Russia, Italy, Spain, China, India, Thailand, Japan, Croatia and other countries.
Denis Perevoz, Kirill Sinichkin and Viktor Borisovich Belyaev, President of the Culinary Association of Russia, presented Russia. A cook who has worked in the Kremlin for 30 years and cooked for Leonid Brezhnev, Mikhail Gorbachev, Richard Nixon, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, Helmut Kohl, Fidel Castro, Jacques Chirac, Yasser Arafat and, of course, for all Russian presidents.
Muzaffer Aydin, who cooked for Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Barack Obama, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Bahattin Karatas – Chef cook of the Nirvana Lagoon Kemer Hotel were presented Turkey.
Italy was presented by Fabrizio Fatucci and Emmanuelle Mongillo, Croatia was presented by Erich Glavica.
Aromas of the best coffees amazed Coffee aficionado. A tree-time Russian champion of Ibrik Coffee Championship - Marina Hyppenen presented master-classes for the guests.
During three days various workshops, evening entertainment programs, culinary contests, street food of different countries, wine workshop and tasting, detox drinks preparation were presented to the guests.
Guests could visit A’la Carte restaurants, where famous chefs presented the author's ideas and gastronomic delights. A unique installation of paintings gave a chance to plunge into the era of the Ottoman Empire and find out what kind of food the sultans ate and even they could try spices, that had been used long before modern times. Extreme lovers had a chance to visit the mobile restaurant "Dinner in the Dark".
The festival was hold with the support of the tour operator Coral Travel.
